Kol Shalom Dietary Policy

The CKS Board of Directors approved the following Dietary Policy on March 12, 2014 (modified for clarification by the Religious Practices Committee on April 5, 2017).

The kitchen will be used exclusively for preparation of vegetarian, dairy, and parve dishes. The remainder of the school building and the sanctuary will be strictly vegetarian, dairy or parve except for special events at which already cooked kosher meats may be served with prior approval from the Rabbi and the Religious Practices Committee. Under no circumstances will dairy products be served with meat. Only kosher fish may be served.
