Congregation Kol Shalom • 9010 Miller Rd NE, Bainbridge Island
CKS is the proud steward of one of the few remaining old growth trees on Bainbridge Island. The age and size of the tree is necessitating extra care recently. To protect the 120-foot Giant Sequoia from damage in high winds, an arborist was hired to remove limbs and install supporting cables. We are asking for your help to meet these significant expenses and ensure this historic tree’s longevity.
Please join us for a special evening at Congregation Kol Shalom, and enjoy a guided wine tasting with hearty appetizers and delicious desserts as we celebrate the legacy we are committed to sustaining.

We're also pleased to welcome Stephen & Sue Jane Bryant who will provide musical accompaniment at the top of the evening:

Sue Jane Bryant has been a member of both the violin and viola sections of the Edmonton Symphony, was Assistant Principal Viola of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and played viola in the inaugural season of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest she has played with the Seattle Symphony and Opera, Pacific NW Ballet Orchestra, NW Sinfonietta, and the Auburn Symphony.

Stephen Bryant is a violinist with the Seattle Symphony, where he has played for more than 20 years. Each summer he leads a string quartet on a special 15-day Canyon Explorations river trip.
