At Kol Shalom we have an active teen program, involved with BBYO, inviting kids from all over Kitsap County regardless of synagogue affiliation. BBYO’s pluralistic movement of Jewish teens, alumni, parents, volunteers and philanthropists will serve as the Jewish community’s most valuable platform for delivering to the post- Bar/Bat Mitzvah audience fun, meaningful and affordable experiences that inspire a lasting connection to the Jewish people. The group meets twice a month from 3pm – 5pm on Sunday.

Beyachad is a monthly programs for post Bat and Bar Mitzvah students in our community. The Beyachad programs are informal gatherings with the Rabbi, with pizza, soda, an Israeli movie, and frank discussion about what it means to be a Jew today and the challenges that that presents to us. This is also an opportunity for anyone interested in any aspect of Jewish leadership to bring your ideas and challenge the group. Do we impact our neighborhood with social action? Do we strengthen our ability to read Torah or give sermons or lead Jewish prayer and give back to Kol Shalom? To we ask the hard questions and challenge our minds? How about all of the above? Join us once a month on Wednesday nights for the next phase of your Jewish life and just a good time.
